It has been years and these stories still managed to unnerve me. I’d say To Be Read At Dusk gets 3 stars, and both The Signalman and The Trial For Murder get 4 stars/5.
This is a very fine Best Ghost Stories Dickens book of stories by Dickens. These are not the familiar stories. Surprisingly more like Poe in some instances. The print is easy to read despite the "mini" size, 4 X 6 inches. The book jacket material is especially high quality.
